Questions to ask before selecting a Web Development firm

There are a multitude of considerations as your develop a website.  Below are questions you will want to ask prior to selecting the web firm that develops your business online.

• Will you develop my site so new pages and content can be added easily, as needed?


• Will the site navigation be intuitive?


• What about updates? Will I be able to update certain content myself, or will you provide that service?


• What programming language will you develop the site in?  (Some languages are not "search engine friendly".  If the structure is flash or frames, your site may have trouble being located by traditional search engines.)


• What will you do as you develop the site to encourage Search Engines to index my site?


• Will my site be set up and hosted online so web traffic statistics are available?
